If anyone has any extra tickets for the 1st CCAS ceremony on Saturday, I desperately need 4 for my large, divorced, remarried, and re-populated family. You will be compensated. Thanks.

I broke my right wrist yesterday playing intramural soccer. It hurts, it is immobile, it is a pain in my ass. I'll post pics soon.

Finished with half of the major content portion of my English paper on The Godfather. Ethnicity is my bitch.
Already done with the intro. Rough draft of part two on family is mostly done.
Maybe I'll get some sleep before class. Or maybe I'll nap at work like Jason did today.
Anything lower than an A- in this class and I'll be mighty pissed off.

| Another Year Gone |
[08 Dec 2005|01:17pm] |
I guess it's that time of year again.
Here are the subjects and first lines of my first entry of each month.
January Subject: Oh the Places I'll Go I was just thinking: I had a great year last year in terms of going to new places.
February Subject: Spring Break! I just booked my ticket to Europe for spring break!
March Subject: Spring Break's a Comin' I'm heading out to Europe on Sunday and I wanted to give everyone (especially those folks reading from abroad) the schedule of events.
April Subject: iPod Diet I did it. I broke down and bought an iPod on meal points.
May Subject: So this is what the volumn knob is for. Just got home from the Mountain Goats show with Sarah.
June No Posts
July No Posts
August Subject: I'm Back, Bitches Yes, I have returned.
September Subject: no subject I got hit by a car today biking to class.
October Subject: Coldplay Coldplay was fucking amazing!!!
November Subject: Registration Well, registration for classes is done.
December Subject: Another Year Gone I guess it's that time of year again.
Analysis Well, out of the nine legitimate entries (no June or July, and this is the December post), 3 are about Europe (Jan, Feb, March), 2 are about concerts (May, Oct), 1 is about school (Nov), 1 is about camp (Aug), and 2 are random (April, Sept). I'd say that's a pretty accurate break-down of my life.

Regardless of how you feel about Tookie Williams himself, the death penalty should be stopped.

I stole this from Ilana.
Check all the movies you've seen. Apparently 70 makes you a real film buff, but that standard seems pretty low.
( See how I kicked Ilana's ass... )
Total: 124

| Long Day |
[22 Nov 2005|01:42am] |
Today was (is) a very long day. I had English at 9:30, which I made it to, sans both assignments that were due. Joe gave me an extension on the paper draft until next Wednesday. So now I have Thanksgiving break to work on that. I just finished the other assignment, a movie review, and dropped it in his box.
After that I had photo class which was super quick. Vanessa and I developed some roles of film but opted not to print and were out by 3. Since I didn't have anything until the WRGW meeting at 10, and she had nothing until 6, we decided to go to the movies.
Go see "Walk the Line." It was amazing! One of the top films of the year, Oscars all around. Great music, great acting, just great. I was also a little amused that Vanessa didn't know Johnny Cash and June Carter were married for a very long time. The whole movie is before they get together.)
The music meeting was quick, we had Chinese in the station after, then I cranked out the above mentioned paper and Lewis and I cabbed it home since it's disgusting outside. Now I just have to wake up early and finish a physics paper, then the break can officially begin.
But before I go to bed, I must watch last week's OC.

| Next Year? |
[17 Nov 2005|01:32am] |
So I've been talking to Tim, which I've missed out on for a couple of months, and he got the IBM job in Arlington. Which means...
I'll probably be back in DC next fall.
Yup, I'm committed to getting a place with Tim and Erich, and Tim's the one getting a real job, so I'll chill here a couple of more years, then figure out my shit.
Viva la District!

Well, registration for classes is done. I've finished my last class registration ever. No more agonizing over the schedule of classes, no more waking up at 7 to frantically punch codes into the computer. Those heady days are past.
This is also my last time to gloat about early reg, and I only do it to piss off Cassie.
With my registration now complete, the honors program is free to kick me out. I got what I wanted from them.
